December 18, 2014 shore line clean up left bank of La Baye de Montreux 13h00-14h00.

Conditions: 

Calm, lake levels normal, shoreline exposed left side of river mouth.

Highest concentration of material since removal and monitoring began. Predominately plastic refuse 10cm and less concentrated in strandlines. Material appears to have been subject to boat propellers. The majority of the refuse was broken into shards of various sizes. Decomposition and deterioration minimal. Recent precipitation likely deposited the  material into the lake via rivers and streams. Approx. 69 liters of material collected throughout shore line along left side of river mouth. Largest material shoe, skateboard remnant and plastic bottlesand cans.
