February 21 2015 shore line clean up left bank of La Baye de Montreux 14h00 - 15h00

Lake and Weather Conditions: Lake turbulent, water level high, limited shoreline exposure on left side of river mouth. Weather wintry mix of snow and showers 2° C, wind NNW 19 km/h.

Material appears to have been left on beach or thrown from the quay. Litter taken out to deeper water by the large waves and wind direction rather than deposited. Approx. 18 liters of litter collected throughout shore line along left bank of river mouth. Identifiable waste collected included: Mc Donald's trash, plastic bottles, cans, cig butts, and small (10cm or less) plastic pieces.
